Nearly that time of year again

We'll shortly be scanning the ewes to see who's pregnant and who's not, the ewes who aren't will likely be rejoined in July for a summer lambing (I hate lambing in summer incidentally) so we can have a bit of yoghurt and fresh cheese year round.

Hello Nessa,

I've come across your post on another website regarding sheep milk which also had your email, was posted back in 2007. I contacted you on that email this morning so hopefully you got my email.

Hi Vanessa,
I happened upon you on a goat forum while googling goat mastectomies and now your blog and your website...excited to read.

First I'm curious what happened to the ewe with the enormous udder, how surgery and post surgery? I have a goat with the same problem and possibly surgery. She has a pretty bad infection that's not responding to antibiotics, not getting better so a mastectomy has been recommended I'm so worried...I hate this so much, I feel so bad for her! Would love to hear back from you about your experience and any advise.

Sincerely,

Tracy
